The EHL Wolves are a non-professional ice hockey team based in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland. They are the École hôtelière de Lausanne [1] ice hockey team.

The club is officially known as the "EHL Wolves" since 2010. However the École hôtelière de Lausanne ice hockey team has been created in 2005, under the name of Committee Ice Hockey.

They play in the "Ligue Lausannoise de hockey-sur-glace" [2] and they won the 2010 championship for the first time. Although season 2010-2011 was very successful as well, the Wolves finished on the second march of the podium. The main opponents were to competitive that season.

History

The EHL WOLVES have only sponsoring from private investor such as: The great escape [3]

Also the Student funds of the École hôtelière de Lausanne provide the funds for the jersey, the fan's zone and entertainment.

Team colours and Fans

One of the unique wolves logo for an ice hockey team the gray wolf (canis lupus), often known simply as the wolf, is the largest wild member of the Canidae family. It represent the spirits of the players, student from École hôtelière de Lausanne, social predator that live in a nuclear family. the EHL wolves are connected to each others not only with a team spirits but also by their studies.

Uniforms

The home sweater is predominantly Black in colour. After you have the predominance of the orange that come from the stick of the logo

The Away sweater is predominantly White in colour, in order ot mark the contrary of the black home sweater

Fans' motto

Who let the WOLVES out, Who?, Who?, Who?, Who?, Who?

The EHL WOLVES fans have created this motto during the first game of the EHL WOLVES. Since then it has been adopted by the fans as the EHL WOLVES' energizing chant!
